COMMUNITY Support programs

At DKM Psychology, we are committed to strengthening the wellbeing of children, families, and school communities through accessible, high-quality support. Our community programs create meaningful partnerships with educators and provide practical tools that make a difference in everyday learning environments.

DKM @ Schools

Since 2021, our DKM @ Schools program has placed supervised provisional psychologists within Victorian schools to deliver on-site counselling, wellbeing support, and free diagnostic assessments. This model reduces wait times, eases financial barriers for families, and gives emerging psychologists invaluable real-world experience—while offering schools consistent, integrated mental health support

.

Professional Development for Educators

We are now expanding our community offerings with a series of free 2-hour professional development workshops for schools. These sessions focus on understanding neurodivergence, responding to distress behaviours, and confidently interpreting psychological assessment reports. Delivered either at your school or in our clinic, these workshops are facilitated by our final-placement interns from ACU and La Trobe University, alongside Practice Director Dr Kimberly Mercuri.

Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to building informed, supportive, and connected communities—one school at a time.
