Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-informed therapy that helps people process distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact. Using guided eye movements and structured techniques, EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process for greater clarity and resilience.
At DKM, three clinicians are trained in EMDR and integrate this approach into individualised treatment.
Common presentations EMDR is well-suited for:
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Complex trauma and childhood trauma
Anxiety and panic disorders

Phobias

Attachment wounds and relational trauma
