charlie haddad

he/him, they/them

Charlie is a compassionate and highly skilled Social Worker and Counsellor, currently completing endorsement as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. With advanced EMDR training and a deeply trauma-informed, neuroaffirming approach, Charlie supports clients across the lifespan with evidence-based care that honours their lived experience and personal pace.

Please note that for all clients aged 17 and younger, a parent session is required as the initial appointment. This allows Charlie to obtain developmental history of the client and to understand the presenting concerns from a parent's perspective. Teenage clients can attend the initial session but this will be split into two halves; first half parent and Charlie and second half client/client and parent with Charlie.

Therapy Style

Grounded in safety, equity, and empowerment, Charlie offers a strengths-based therapeutic space that is inclusive, non-judgemental, and culturally responsive. His practice centres the voices of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals, ensuring therapy does not pathologise identity, expression, or difference.

Charlie works collaboratively with children, adolescents, and adults on concerns related to trauma, gender, sexuality, identity development, anxiety, mood, and life transitions. His warm, attuned style helps clients feel grounded and understood as they navigate challenges, integrate past experiences, and reconnect with a more authentic, empowered sense of self.

Fees

The fee to see Charles for therapeutic intervention is $150 per session. His fee does not attract a Medicare rebate.

NDIS participants are billed at the maximum recommended rate.
