DKM Psychology is a growing, boutique private practice located in Coburg. We offer high quality clinical assessment and individual therapy to adults with a broad range of diagnostic presentations. Most clients of DKM Psychology are referred under Medicare, with some referred under Worksafe and/or self-referred.

Job Description:

We are seeking a contractor Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar 2+ days per week at DKM Psychology. The suitable candidate will conduct clinical interviews and implement psychological therapies, as well as liaise with other treating health professionals.

Essential Criteria:

Masters or Doctoral Level training in Psychology
Registered with the Australian Psychology Board
Professional indemnity insurance + public liability insurance + ABN
Competence in CBT
Registered with Medicare as a provider of psychology items
Clinical experience with a wide range of presentations/issues
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team with enthusiasm and reliability
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable criteria

Experience with ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy
Previous private practice experience and/or Medicare work
Clinical endorsement or enrolled in endorsement program

Remuneration

$113-$130 per client
We shy away from the traditional two-tier model. Fees are based on experience, not type of registration/endorsement.
