KAILIA VAN DER WERT
Kailia is a Provisional Psychologist, completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at Australian Catholic University. She has experience providing compassionate and evidence-based intervention and assessments. Kailia is passionate about client centred care and working collaboratively to improve wellbeing.
Kailia has experience across community and research settings, working with individuals across the lifespan in the context of mental health. Kailia is available for individual therapy, and diagnostic assessment (IQ, ADHD, Autism) for children, adolescents, and adults. She splits her placement across our Coburg practice and one of our affiliated schools.
Please note that for all clients aged 17 and younger, a parent session is required as the initial appointment. This allows Kailia to obtain developmental history of the client and to understand the presenting concerns from a parent's perspective.
Teenage clients can attend the initial session but this will be split into two halves; first half parent and Kailia and second half client/client and parent with Kailia.
